Boka Bay tour and mussel farm visit

This tour gives you the opportunity to visit two most beautiful coastal towns in the bay (Perast and Kotor) and to taste local products in a unique ambience.   Perast is without a doubt the most romantic and the most charming place in Montenegro. Tucked away in front of Verige gorge it prances with two beautiful islets in front of it, creating a breathtaking landscape that will engrave in your memory forever. Perast was a hometown of the most prominent sailors of the region. Its stone houses, baroque palaces and family chapels still testify about the greatness and the wealth of its inhabitants. There is only one street in this sleepy baroque village, but numerous narrow passages and staircases that hide the most beautiful secrets and love stories. The most remarkable part of Perast, is the artificial islet Our Lady of the Rocks.  Generations of locals were building it in the honor of Mother of God. This saint has been protecting the sailors and the locals ever since, which is why it has a special place not just in the hearts of the residents of Perast, but in the heart of every person that steps a foot on this holy ground. Take some free time to explore this unique place and to try local delicacies, and then meet your guide and drive back to the local mussel farm. “Skoljke Boke“ is the first and only shellfish and oysters farm in Montenegro built on the principles of sustainable development which respects and applies GHP and HACCP standard in order to grow examined, healthy and organic product. It also enables a natural system of purification, clean and healthy organic food from the water close to several permanent freshwater sources. You will have the opportunity to taste fresh oysters from the sea, and to enjoy local specialty – mussels on buzara. After the mussel farm visit take a short ride back to Kotor. Situated at the very end of the most beautiful Adriatic bay, this is a magnificent medieval town that resists time and shows off with its enchanting architecture. Its impressive ramparts, narrow streets and charming squares hide real jewels of Baroque and Renaissance palaces that leave no one indifferent. Enjoy Kotor walking tour and stroll along the streets and squares and soak up all the beauty and the amazing scenery.
